There were no reports as this was the 2^nd Annual Banquet & Casino Night. The VFW Auxiliary prepared a wonderful dinner for 80 people.  After the meal John Hoscheidt Emceed the Awards. Awards given out for 2007 went to the following:

            Organization of the Year: Community Projects of Aledo.

            Business of the Year: Scooter’s Bar & Grill.

            Sesquicentennial Award: Aledo United Methodist Church.

            Chamber  Member of the Year: John Hoscheidt.

            Chamber Hall of Fame: Jerry Hall

            Past President Tony Holtschlag received a plague for outgoing President.

At 7:00pm the Casino was open with the Aledo Jaycees manning the Blackjack,

Craps, Roulette, Texas Hold’ em tables. Everyone was having a good time and 9:00 rolled around fast, at that time Roger Maynard began the Auction for the items donated by members of the chamber.  A BIG “Thank You” to all who donated items and help make the Annual Banquet a big success.  Thanks also to Roger Maynard for Auctioning.

Next meeting will be April 8^th, 2008
